Optical Emission Spectrometry (OES) is a highly accurate and widely trusted analytical technique used globally for determining the elemental composition of metals and alloys. When a controlled electrical spark is generated between an electrode and the metal sample, surface atoms are vaporized and excited within a high-energy discharge plasma.
As these excited atoms return to their stable state, they emit light at characteristic wavelengths unique to each element. The optical system captures and analyzes this emitted radiation, allowing the spectrometer to calculate precise elemental concentrations with excellent accuracy, repeatability, and speed.
OES is considered the gold standard for rapid, multi-element metal analysis across foundries, steel plants, automotive manufacturing, aerospace, and quality-control laboratories. It enables fast decision-making, consistent quality assurance, and compliance with international standards.
We use the latest generation CCD (Charge Coupled Device) and CMOS (Complementary Metal Oxide Semiconductor) detectors. These detectors offer:
Designed for multi-base analysis with 26+ elements, upgradeable to 40+ elements. Ideal for foundries, alloy manufacturers, and high-accuracy labs.
A single-base spectrometer supporting 21+ elements, upgradeable to 35+ elements. Cost-efficient solution for medium-scale metal testing operations.
Advanced multi-base, multi-detector system with 32+ elements, upgradeable to 56+ elements. Specially designed for Nitrogen analysis and high-precision industrial applications.
